Tonight we kicked off the annual Casey Lee Ball Foundation bash and had great BBQ from the great team from KC Smoke on Wheels along with the BIg Poppa team.

It was acoustic night and what a night Rodney Crowell Did a one man show singing songs and reading from his book Chinaberry Sidewalks...then Luke Ferraro and Bonamassa and I joined in for some fun music. OK is was a very nice evening and we are going to raise a boatload of money for pediatric kidney research....

Oh yeah I showed Joe the Gamechanger and all he could say over and over was "wicked"

I have heard many wonderful things about Joe, over at his forums, and how down to earth he is, Birds of a Feather, eh BP!

Sounds like it was a great time, besides more importantly all for a great cause. I knew JB was going to make it the first time I saw that documentary on public television years ago when he was 16 and the late great Danny Gatton was his teacher at the time. Funny thing he was in that band Bloodline at the time made up of famous offspring of all great players except him, and he is the one that made it lol. I cant remember the name but it is a must see for those who have never seen it. He sure loves his EBMM guitars as I have seen his live rig and it is full of them. He is one guy that plays like he is from the late 70s early 80s, and is just a beast who can throw out jazz or country lines as effortless as blues or rock.

Sounds like a great time BP. Can't beat excellent music and BBQ. And big congrats on the successful fundraising. I went to our local annual concert for AIDS fundraiser on Saturday night, and it was very successful this year as well. Thanks for giving us the tale.
