Happy birthday to me

I have an amazing wife. She, like most wives I know, seems to pay very little attention to my 'guitar stuff'. But, I still point guitars out to her from time to time. One of those times was a few weeks ago when an Axis Super Sport popped up on Craigslist. I showed her the listing and went on about the color (translucent orange, my favorite finish), and the beautiful birdseye maple neck, etc. I remember telling her that if I was to order an Axis, it would be just like this one. She seemed indifferent and smiled politely and went on with what she was doing. So, she went behind my back, contacted the seller and bought it for me for my birthday...I didn't think she would ever deceive me. :rolleyes:

Greatest guitar I've ever owned...no question. I'm sure that I've owned over a hundred. I have three EBMM's now and I'm a shameless addict at this point. I MUST have a JP6...just one more and I'll stop. lol

Some women are awesome.....just sold a Martin on EBay to a lady who's going to surprise her husband for his 50th birthday.

Where do I find one???

Yeah...I bought tickets to the ballet and reserved a room at a bed and breakfast for the weekend for her birthday-ours are two weeks apart. Ballet isn't something that I would ever pay attention to on my own but, these people are amazing athletes and it is a beautiful art. I really enjoy it for about 10 minutes then I'm pretty bored. But, I'll do it for her and never complain...she loves it. This is the first time we've done anything big for our birthdays. She's an amazing girl

Hey, yeh, that is onje hell of a neck. Looks like it is alive with it's own pulse and blood flowing through it.

You should treat your wife to a nice damp break in London and bring the guitar with you :D
