anyone in the Vancouver area, I'll be in Surrey at the Millenium Amphitheatre with Carolyn Arends(upright..no Bongo) then right after that it'll be a quick set with Shane Wiebe then we(Shane and band) haul off to Abottsford to close out Abottsford city's Canada Day celebrations(with a nice little funked-out 'Happy Birthday' rendition arr. by yours truly ) hehehe

Nice shot Pete! Thanks. I'll be playing an outdoor gig next Saturday. I guarantee that all four of us will be wearing shorts. We play at 4 in the afternoon. If the temps stay where they have been, it should be around 100 degrees F.

ya.... the last time I played and wore shorts I got a bit of a reprimand, it was 32 degrees Celsius out and with the humidity factored in it was 36degrees and a nationally sindicated broadcast live outdoors. So I didn't want to be a sweat-hog on camera so I opted for shorts...... well the boss heard back from people who watched it and didn't think that it was "apropriate attire" for a Worship event....... did I mention they made us wear bright banana yellow event t-shirts onstage that had poorly silk screened graphics..... anywho
have fun next week-end! and enjoy your lovely Texass heat

and yes... there should be a signature Strong Mad Bongo!!!(maybe with the Cheat inlays or just some consumate Vs) hehehehehehehehehehe
