Happy Memorial Day, to you and yours. I'm sure we all have someone in our family or have friends that have had someone in the military now or in the past. Lets give them the thanks they deserve.

Freedom isn't free it's paid for in full with their sweat, blood, tears, and dreams.

Thank you to all of our service men and women who have served in the past or currently serve. My family appreciates all that you do or have done.

Yes!!! This freedom we have was paid in for in our vet's blood and their lives!!

However, look around (honestly) do you really think anyone in this country cares (save a few of us). It's unfortunate that America has descended to such a "crime/thug/deadbeat" riddled society (believe what you see, not what you want to see).

Thanks to our great, venerated, political (game show) leaders the past 50 yrs. Well at least we still have EBMM!!

The second annual Oldsmar Freedom Fest in Oldsmar, Florida was held this weekend and we were honored to be asked back after having played the first one last year.

We were the headliner on Friday night and played for about 5,000 people.

The show always begins with the sponsors singing "The Star Spangled Banner."

America is great!

I've always wanted to observe a Memorial Day in the Normandy area of France. So many American kids buried there. The greatest generation, for sure.

While you may be correct, and I am certainly not naïve to our country's fortitude when it comes to conflict, it still only takes one person to make a difference. I believe in our Country's and the principles for which it's fondation was built on. This is about the respect for veterans not politics, plain and simple.

Yeah, I understand BM; no one loved this country more than I did. And to see all the lives that were given to bring us this precious freedom; and then to see the results of that payment (now); that is what I am talking about - it's unimaginable!

Without saying anything further on this forum, it's not the place.

Memorial Day is about those who gave all, not those who served and are still around to make sandwiches. Lots of people, including my family, like to send me "thanks" on Memorial Day, but it's not about me or anyone else who can still type on an internet forum.

So - take a moment to remember those who are no longer with us.
