Howdie guys,
I have been reading through all the posts the last few weeks, but didn't have enough extra time to chime in an answer here and there. One thing that keeps coming back to mind, however, is the Open House. You just can't get more from a guitar factory than we got from Sterling and everyone at Ernie Ball, can you? My mind keeps travelling back to those two days in September in SLO and it keeps reminding me of this EB history I'm proud of being part of.
Furthermore, now that it is clear that the first Y2D's are blasting
from the factory in all their glory, it is really making the wait more comfortable. The Y2D will be my third EBMM, and I have been desperately GASsing for an ASS with hardtail and piezo, so I'm rather sure that will be added to the list someday in the future (not to forget an EBMM bass; when reading Beej's posts, whom I had very enjoyable conversations with at the SLO airport and on the plane (thank you Jason), I am absolutely convinced that one will fit my stable
).
Once again, all of you, thanks for the good times and I really wish I was in the USA, it would make finding the right musicians for a band a whole lot easier...
And I'll try to post some more in the future, otherwise I will never reach the 1000th post before my fourth EBMM arrives (you know, my son, our house next year, pricey things and I have to spend most of my money on those
, but they won't stand in EB's way, I assure you as much).
Cheers guys, thoughts of the open house often make my day when it is full of hard work and scarces in spare time to crank up the volume and play the living bejeepers out of the Morse.
Tom.
