What better way to start the new year than with a new Ernie Ball Musicman.

Thanks to Pete DuBaldo for hooking me up with this one.

I just got done playing for the first time, and I'm in love. I've been without a Floyd-equipped Axis for about 6 months, and I had forgotten how good they sound. This one is awesome! The harmonics just bounce right off, and it feels as light as a feather. I'm used to some of the Floyd models feeling heavier.

I really like the natural headstock too. I've always felt that that with EBMM, the tops do the talking, and the non-matching headstock draws your eye right to the good stuff. The top is great!! It's got a mix of quilt, flame, and even some birdseye-like patterns if you look close enough.

oh man, that is sa-weeet! (like my perpetual Axis GAS isn't bad enough already...)

I will concur with that.

i think ive become a full convert to natty headstocks, they look seriously cool on every guitar, regardless of colour!

I'm kinda headed that way myself - I think they look really great on every guitar I've seen with it, and do look very distinctive.

I'd love to find a killer all-natural ASS, or a 20th Silo/trem with maple/natty neck...

Here's a sweet (ruby?) Red/Flame/hardtail/rosewood/natty ASS:

The Perfect Guitar - Guitars, Amps, Gear!

If it had a trem I'd be reeeaallly tempted to hit the button on that one right now...

That blue is total class.

That red hardtail is really distinctive.

Both really nice.

Tony - very nice Axis; really nice top and neck. And as you can see from my avatar I love the blue guitars also!
