Help! hard case for Stingray and Sterling ? Different ?

I got my case with some handle problem, and found One used. But Seller says it's for Sterling, not for Stingray.
Is it impossible to grab Stingray ?
What about Stingray 5 into Sterling case ?

If anyone, ever experience on expanding the bass shape of Inside foam ?

The Sterling case is smaller. Stingray, SR5, Bongo, and Bongo5 should all use the same case. Not sure about a Sterling5 case.

yup..tried stuffing my SUB in my Sterling case............it'll go but,damn tight fit.

I thought the Bongo case was cut differently to allow for the crescent body shape ?

You might be right. I thought my SR5 case had a small cutout on each side for the Bongo lower horn...lefty or righty, but it's been a while.

A Bongo and Stingray will not fit inside of each others case. I have a Stingray Classic and a Bongo and was asked not to long ago if they were interchangeable. I tried and neither would fit the other. It was close but neither would do it.

length and headstock room are fine........it's both horns that need to be PUSHED in..........the bass of the body is good too.......just the horns.
