I wonder how long the strings have been off of it?? Won't that ruin the neck over time?

Nice looking, it looks like it could use a good cleaning that's for sure.

This ones right up Tim's alley.

Why the no strings thing? The only time any of my guitars are without strings are the few minutes between getting the old off and the new on?

Seems especially daft when you're photographing it for ebay. Just going to put doubts about the neck into peoples minds.

Is that a good/fair price?

Seems average from what I've seen. You don't see too many hardtails though.

I'm with Bungo, I wonder how long the strings have been off of it though, that can't be good for the neck.
They say that they were changing the strings when the picture was taken. Mind you the site that has it listed is a guitar parts place.

Becareful if you chase after this one.

It is right up my alley! But I already have a red Axis! And my little rule is not to own two of the same colour! And I have just had to buy a new amp today!

Its nothing mind blowing! Its another Line 6 Duoverb! I like to keep two identical amps in case one has a problem. My number 1 Duoverb started to sound thin and nasty, the cleans were farting out and it had no sustain. I did a factory re-set and it made no difference. I was all set to buy a Vetta, but I managed to convince a broke local guitarist to sell me his! Plus I got a cover, the FBV shortboard, and shortboard case too! All for £300! I really like these amps! I have one more thing to try before writing off the ole Duo #1, if not it will be liquidated!

Fair enough.

I have my eye (ear?) on a 5150 at the moment. How do you rate your bandmates one?

They have probably the best rock guitar sound you could ever want! I like the sound The Stoner gets from his, though he uses a sonic maximiser in the loop. That said, they are a one tricky pony, with TOO much gain, and there is not really a usable clean on this amp. Plus no reverb on the head. If I didnt need to play weddings and 50th birthday parties with a function band, I would have a 5150!

Tim I've got a Spider 2 1x12 with the short board and I'm really happy myself. Though I had a Flextone 3 and I sold it about a year ago. A fellow forumite told me that I'd regret it and I now know that was right.

Hmmm...that's a pretty fair endorsement!

Thanks for that.
