I'm thinking about picking one up, but none of the dealers near me have one in stock. If anyone here has tried it and liked it, it would be reason enough for me to track one down for an audition.

It entirely depends what type of music you play. I owned one for about 12 months but I could personally never get a satisfactory metal sound of it and the clean channel while nice is not sufficiently in the Fender ballpark, imo. I have graduated to the purchase of an amp by "The Valve co." called a 3/100. (Check 'em out online... You'll be floored!) The new amp should be with me within weeks and I can hardly wait.

Sorry guys, but I must be a complete idiot. I've owned a Triamp MKII for a couple of months now. I meant to ask about the Hughes and Kettner Statesman. I guess I shouldn't post after midnight when I'm half asleep.
