I always just get Slinky 10's, but I was wondering what people thought of the new, higher guage strings. I want to try the 12's, but I am afraid I might be too much of a sissy...
I haven't been able to find any music store close to where I live that are carrying the new string gauges. When I do find them I will be trying the Beefy Slinky's.
I noticed that Pickers Emporium and Chris Guitar Shop carry EB products. According to our database they haven't bought the new Slinky's yet. You may want to ask just to make sure that they are aware of the new sets...
We are doing our best in letting every dealer know for their product knowledge...
I'm not real sure where Pickers Emborium is. The Chris's Guitar Shop in Ashland was supposed to order me 2 boxes(24 sets) last monday, I guess they still haven't done so.
Cool. Thanks alot Brian. Hopefully I'll be talking to you more frequently. I've been talking to a band who is one of EB's endorsed artist, trying to get a job with them as a guitar tech. The band is MinusDriver from Atlanta, GA.
Hey Brian, I am in Tacoma Washington, is there anywhere close to me that would have the new strings? I just moved here and have not had a chance to look around too much for EB stuff...
I checked out Ted Brown Music, and Sluggo Music in Tacoma and noticed they haven't ordered the new slinkys yet. If you mention to them that you want to try them out, we should be able to get them out asap...
Brian, talked to them a few minutes ago and they said that the strings are on back order until monday. Said it would be the end of next week before I got them. Any input on this one?
