Wow! That looks awesome.

I've seen loads of Sims custom stuff on ebay over here before, the guys work always seems to be pretty top knotch!

I've always wanted to see some in action shots of those finishes complete with an array of different coloured stage lights bouncing off them.

Donnie, a JP7 owner on another thread pointed something interesting out...why the locking nut with a vintage trem?

He is one of my guitar tutors at college, I'm talking him into bringing it in for me to play on :D

He has literally had the whole thing chromed. Dunno how that will make it sound tho, will make the fretboard feel a bit weird too i imagine

It's an EBMM, but that thing looks GROSSSSS!!!! It looks like a piece of glass cut out in the shape of the Axis. I like wood and the grain and the feel of wood. That's what a guitar IS, is WOOD and that's what it should look like for the most part in my book. I personally just disslike things like this, and also the plastic or see through whatever the hell they use guitars.

Hello

I agree with Roubster .... I really don't like this sort of finish
I prefer the good old wood !

But everyone is free to have bad taste :p

I spoke to him a while ago when he told us that he was getting it done. From what he said, it sounded like he had it done for promotional work and photos etc, not really for playing. Could be rong, I'll ask him on Monday

Can you ask him why he has a locking nut on a vintage trem equipped Axis? Thanks!

Raz,

I noticed that as well, made me wonder if he slipped a different neck on that beast. I do think the end result is pretty cool though

No doubt the dude's got skills, it is a piece of art, just wondering why, not why he did the work, why the locking nut...I guess it makes sense, he used another neck!
