Can anyone suggest good headphones for studio use or late night playing through a Tech 21 modeling amp or POD?

I am looking for good sound reproduction. So far I have been recommended AKG K-240,Sennheiser HD-280, Fostex T-40 or T-50. Any comments on these models would be appreciated. Thanks.

I've used a Sennheiser HD600 and am now selling it on Amazon.com, since I need the money.

I've never used any other headphone for "quiet" night practice other than a Philips SBC HS800, which is supposed to be for CD players and such and didn't deliver and good range to hear my bass very well.

The Sennheiser HD600, from my experience, is not only comfortable, but gives a nice sound. Like I said, I've never used any other headphones suited for studio work, but the Sennheisers were remarkably clear. Sound punched through very well.

If you've got the cash, try one out. :)
