This might have been brought up before and I missed it... but why is it the SRs, SR5s, and Sterlings have EBMM logo on the headstock but the bongos and s.u.bs have only MM on the headstock?

Just a stab, but it's probably to differentiate between the original MM SRs and the EBMM SRs. Since EBMM is the only company to make the Bongo, there is no need to differentiate

Not sure on the Sterlings, though...

I'm pretty sure there was a previous post by BP (maybe 6-12 months ago) describing the evolution of the headstock decals. I think it went something like the difference between Ernie Ball branding (strings, etc.) and Music Man instruments (basses & guitars). This was a relatively recent, so only the instruments developed later (Bongo & SUB) had the decal change.

I'm sure a more complete explanation will be coming shortly
