So, I went up to the store where I ordered my Albert and the guy I'm dealing with broke out his piezo loaded Rosewood Axis w/mm90's. I'm truly psyched that I ordered my AL with these pick-ups. They sounded great through the Axis, I know that there will be some tone differences because of the Ash body of my AL, but they sound sweet!:D

Man, this wait is getting excruciatingly painful

Pug, I played an AL with MM90's at the Open House, and it was incredible. You can get sounds out of that axe like no other.

Not that this will make your wait any less difficult...

is that what they call the P-90 in the Axis Sports? I have that in a trans blue and love the sound of that guitar...

I bought it really for the color (typical chick) and because it was being sold really cheap. Figured I could have the pickups changed...but left 'em alone. The store near me is selling off all their MM stuff for cost and tax right now because they are dropping the line... So I got that before someone else snagged it. :)

The MM90's were an option for the Axis Sport so I'd say probably yes. Give Customer Service a call tomorrow and they can probably tell you for sure.

Axis Sports are awesome guitar, the discontinued model, but in my eyes the best.

Let's see some pictures dude. :D

not a dude, but sure...it will be home tomorrow from a setup. (Having 11's put on it and the covers changed...trans blue with creme pickup covers and knobs was gross...) I will post tomorrow nite. I'm new here and this is my first MM, so I'm a lil' unsure of all the models. Only liked this one... But it's a nice guitar and I like the neck.

Dudette, sorry we don't get many on this side, welcome.

Well being new you have to post pictures to the picture post sticky thread.

Don't feel bad about not know models and stuff, just enjoy one of the best guitars you'll ever lay your hands on. :D

Also a big welcome! Stick around...I hope that you enjoy this interesting to say the least cast of characters!
