Hectic Watermelon is playing in San Diego this Saturday night with our friends from San Luis Obispo, The Travis Larson band. Travis is an Ernie Ball artist playing mostly a JP these days. The show is at the great all ages venue, Lestat’s in Normal Heights. This may be our last show in San Diego for awhile as we have more stuff out of town in the coming weeks.

I wish I could make one of your shows, John, but unless you get a little closer to Delaware, I'm sh!t out of luck.

For anyone not familiar with John and Hectic Watermelon, do yourself a favor and get to this show if you are within shooting distance. At the very least, buy "The Great American Road Trip" CD. It gets played often here at Acme Guitar Works.

I'd like to check out one of your shows one of these days. This weekend is major busy though. Are you playing the LA or Orange County area any time soon?

I really like the clips I have heard. I like that style of music... too bad I can't play it. :)

Thank you very much Tone Dog. Glad you are digging the CD. We are sure having fun gigging it!

Hey Paranoid, we have a show in Huntington Beach in August when we get back from Northern Cali. It's Thursday the 23rd at the Blue Cafe.

Rats, I'll be on vacation in Sedona that week. If you like the Blue Cafe, you should try to play the Long Beach location.

Rented a place last year in Sedona! I love that town. Take airport road up to the Sky Ranch Lodge...theirs a killer viewpoint a mile up, and a great view hike 1/2 a mile up at the small parking lot on your left. View constantly changes. Also make sure you get to red rock crossing.

Back on topic, Hey John...good luck with the gig, I'm coming down tuesday to see robben ford, larry carlton and laurence juber at humphries.

Hey Keith,

Long time no see! Give me a call if you'd still like to go over that Morse material. I'll have some time in the coming weeks, but then I'm pretty slammed form mid August on.
