Hello,
I have just joined the forum.
Been playing bass over 25 years; playing drums a little now too.

Have owned three first class SR5's in the past including the 25th Anniversary SR5 and a piezo pickup model.
Currently have only SR4 with 2eq as basic has become my paramount.

Been round the block with many brands, keep coming back to the Ray's 'does what it says on the tin' throaty angry sound that makes guitar players have to buy bigger amps to compete with.

Gotta love it.

I held off getting a StingRay for years. I thought they were beautiful, and I've always admired Leo's designs. I was generally happy with other of his products, but a couple of months ago I sold my car and simultaneously learned that a friend was selling his '99 SR 5 in honey burst. At a great price!

So now I have one and I love it. Spread the word.:D
