A tech screwed up my EBMM EVH trem by changing the post height on the bridge. I screwed it down so it would seat firmly on the body but that didn't seem to work. Can someone with the same guitar post the correct height of the posts and pics of the bridge as it sits on the body? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

Go to reverb and check out the pictures there. Plenty of EVH guitars on there showing the correct post height.

Please be aware that some on there may have been set to float a little and had the neck shimmed. I would really recommend taking some pictures and sending them to EBMM customer service before doing anything further. EVH guitars are not cheap and they also use a tremolo system that is no longer available, so if parts get broken it will be less than ideal.

Here's my '96 Axis, same exact Gotoh trem. 3/8" between the top of the guitar to the top of the post.

As others have mentioned in your previous forum postings, you can't really rely on using the trem posts for action adjustments on a Floyd top-mounted guitar like this. If you drop the posts too low, then the front of the saddles will be all angled down AND the strings could be in contact with the direct-mounted bridge pickup. Truss rod + neck pocket shims are the best way to really dial it in.

Best thing I've found over the years is:
1) Make sure bridge posts are around 3/8" high
2) Adjust the trem claw to where the fine tuner tension plate (the thin piece of metal under the rear of the bridge's baseplate) makes good solid contact with the top of the body
3) Fine tune the action using small truss rod tweaks + neck pocket shims toward the back of the neck pocket

YMMV
