I've got a G string that buzzes only with the piezo on and when I say buzz, it cuts in and out like a detuned radio. I've fiddled with the saddle height which works for a split second. I start to play again and it cuts in and out. I've changed strings, used contact cleaner etc but to no avail. Do I need a new saddle and if so, how easy is it to get one?

I'm a little fed up because I've got 2 new Axis SSs, one of which is still with the UK EB distributor with neck, cable and other problems and has a body that was overcut. I haven't seen it for nearly 2 months. Now this happens...

I wonder if maybe the factory might be a little understaffed?

seems like in the last year or so we've been seeing more posting on build issues than in the past. My last Luke delivered in March '04 needed some tweaking to match the playability and comfort of my earlier ones...a bit of fret filing, some more wax on back of neck, and the b saddle piezo wasn't quite loud as other 5 strings.

The Eb company did recently undergo a major separation moving a bunch of peeps and things to Southern California. It's not uncommon when a company goes through a bit of change to have some issues come up.

Of course, maybe all of this is totally unrelated, but it also may be partially responsible. I'm also sure they are terrific people to deal with and always work with us to sort out our problems no matter what they are.
