Hey guys, I'm new here...got introduced by a friend of mine who now has me persuaded to by an EBMM....

I was just wondering which models are available *left handed* so I can make my decision as to which to go for. I know the LUKE now comes LH (yay), and I *just* missed out on a Sil Special on eBay last week :(...But wondered what other models I'd be able to look at...

Thanks muchly.

Now that the Luke is available, that makes 3 models, I believe..with the Axis Super Sport and Sil. special. I've played all 3, and the Luke did it for me....sounds amazing. The neck profiles for each are noticeably different though, so I'd definitely suggest trying them out before you decide (even if you have to try out a righty...just to feel the neck).
welcome to the forum, and happy hunting :)

I always wondered something about left hand guitar players...if you'd ever get into an argument with them, you'd always be right! :D

I feel for ya.

I'm naturally Left handed but ambidexterous with alot of things like writing, computer mouse, using a hammer or baseball bat...

... but my first guitar was a Les Paul copy. I played it strung right handed but flipped over left for the first few months. I got so sick of not being able to reach the higher frets that I gave in and started playing right handed.

If I had started with a Strat copy, I'd probably still play left handed..... but I sure have had an easier time finding right handed equipment.

Same thing happened with Golf... I played left handed for a year, but switched to right handed when I inherited some nice Calaway stuff.

I know a couple left-handed people who learned the guitar right-handed.

I even know this one guy who plays right-handed strung guitars left-handed. Thats's a bit weird when you see the low E string on the bottom of the neck.

Thanks for the replies guys...

there are times I wish I'd started playing right handed...Bit late now though I've been playing almost 4 years. But I have an abundance of nice guitars...I'm quite lucky really. I have a custom built jobbie, a strat, a few acoustics and a few "project" guitars...

But I love the look EBMM guitars...I think the Petrucci is my favourite, but I'm a big fan of the Luke, the Sil and the Axis, so I guess I have a few options to decide from. :D

The Luke is looking the favourite at the minute..I've just gotta find the cash to be able to afford it.

I just missed out on winning a 2nd hand Sil Special from eBay last week. I was very sad.

Thanks again for the warm welcome.

EB guitars are hard enough to find, let alone a lefty.

I doubt you'll see many of these in stores. I think I've seen a couple of EBMM lefty's in WILD WEST guitars Riverside CA.
