Keep your head up, Patrick - you got your basses and you're safe. My family on the Gulf Coast (Biloxi and Ocean Springs) is struggling to get back to normal, too.

You should have dropped me an email when you were in Dallas, but I imagine it wasn't the first thing on your mind.

Keep us informed!

Jack

Last year, we in Florida went through maybe .01% of what the Gulf Coast just got, and it really messed things up for many months. I can't imagine what you folks are dealing with!

If you and your family are okay, that's all you really need. If your basses are okay as well, you're definitely in the plus column!

God bless you all and take care!

Glad you got out with some valuables. Keep us posted.
What a mess. Here's hoping the massive recovery effort along the coast allows the folks there to get back soon and start the rebuilding.

Patrick,
Glad you are settled with relatives. I am 42 miles north of Longview, to late now but if I had known you were in the area I could have been of some assistance if it was needed.
Our Churches are sending supplies to Beaumont and surrounding area plus people to help clean up.

Hey Patrick~ the next time the Bay Area Forumites get together for drinks, we'll have a toast for you!

Good Luck!
James
