I had this happen with my old condo. I was close to their radio tower though. I agree with the grounding problem with the outlet. Try a different outlet or try to find a different facing for the amp. If you can identify their tower try to find different positions away from it and maybe that would help. I wish I could say that that would get rid of the problem. However, mine persisted to various degrees until I moved.

My stage rig with separates and noise gates did pick up the signal much less than my practice combo though.

Good luck!

I used to pick up a Spanish radio station. I had my entire rig deported...

Seriously, get a power conditioner, I've picked up all kinds of stations and it stopped once I got a power conditioner. And if you care about your amp, you'll get one. I can't stress how imprtant these little things are. It's saved my but a time or 2!!! I got a Furman PL8 series II from Amazon, I paid a lot less there than I would have paid anywhere else. Here's the link to the one I have.

Thanks, all, for the help. In an apartment, so not sure if I can do anything about grounding. Checking out power conditioners. Till then, just discovered a particular corner where, if I face in one direction, no country, so that's where I'll be.
