I just emailed customer support about this but my JP6's piezo is distorting pretty badly and I'm not sure what could be causing it.
I used to have a carvin holdsworth that would do this when the battery was getting low so I've changed out the 9v battery. This time it didn't change anything
I can lower the piezo mix pot on the back of the guitar but at the point at which the distorting subdues, there's a pretty big volume drop going from magnetic to piezo pickups.
The only other thing that I'm aware of that could be affecting it is different pickups. I've got a 2 conductor motor city pickup in the bridge (wired with the hot and ground) and a dimarzio air norton 4 conductor wired exactly like the liquifire pickup was wired.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?
