HEY!

I think I want to defect to the Light side. I really Love the BLUES!!! Not knowing anything about guitars which one in the roster would make a nice Blues sound. This would be my first electric, right now I have a really nice little parlor acoustic that I am learning on. I really like Buddy guy, SRV, Clapton, Jimi, Etc... As you can see they are all Fen*** players. What would I need to get into that style while keeping it simple. Thats what I like to do, Simple, Iam not a knob turner, I keep my basses relatively simple too. I like tone from my fingers.

I am guessing an Albert Lee or Silo would do but in what configuration?

Thanks in advanced.

Albert Lee SSS, Silo Special SSS or a Luke?

BTW Albert Lee is the Strat killer.

silo special HSS, you can split the bucker in the bridge and then you got a little meat when you need it -

Everyone you mentioned is playing a Str*t with three singles - So, if you want to stay simple I'd recommend either the AL :) or Silo Spec with s/s/s.

The MM90's would work also and give you a bit more bite if you really needed it but either way you can't go wrong.
