HELP ME to understand my guitar SERiAL NUMBER

Probably I'm not the first person asking 'bout that ... but anyone here can tell me what means my guitar serial number : G34474 ... this is MM 961 John Petrucci Signature.

Sorry for my english ... but I believe that You understand what I mean ...

I just want to know my guitar date of "birth" ... and whatever else about serial number ...

Matragon,

The serial numbers are in a totally random order. They pick them based on a "whatever's on the top of the pile" process. most of the guitars that are built aren't in numerical order.

The only way to find out the DOB is to do what you just did. Either start a "DOB please" thread, or post in the http://www.ernieball.com/forums/music-man-guitars/3830-important-my-ernie-balls-serial-131.html thread.

Your birthdate for that JP is on 1/16/07 and the color is Sapphire Black.
