Hey guys. I currently have an up-bow on the neck of my Stingray in the upper frets and when I attempt to loosen the truss rod to provide some back-bow, it doesn't move. :-( The truss rod can be tightened (it turns just a bit, but loosening it doesn't work). I've tried tuning up my strings from 'E' to 'G' to help pull the neck forward but I don't think it's helping much.

Does anybody have any suggestions? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

IMO, all adjustments should be done with the strings totally loosened to the point where they're literally flopping around, lying on the fretboard like overcooked spaghetti. Yes, yes, yes, I know some repair people do neck adjustments with the strings at pitch or slightly below, but I've never been a fan of that.

With that out of the way, you fix a forward bow by tightening the truss rod. You fix a back bow by loosening it. There seem to be contradictions on that matter in your problem description, but it could be I'm just reading it wrong. Sorry in advance if that's the case.
