Again, thanks for the helpful info. Yeah, I just saw that Sterling w/ a thumbrest on the 'bay. I think you're right, if I buy new, the difference b/w the H & HS or HH is not significant. I was referring to the difference b/w a used w. single H vs. a new one. I actually kinda dig the thumbrest installation idea, if I end up w/ the used one...
And yes, you don't have to tell me about tired hands, I just practiced on Saturday for 3 or 4 hours w/ my Fender that's 1.75" @ the nut, and my left hand was pretty wasted. It reconfirmed for me the need for the Sterling neck...
