Help with Axis Super SPort......

One of my super sports...when using the five way switch...the fifth position is not engaging the full humbucker....so both the 4th and fifth position sound the same.

Still sounds good but what should I be looking for to fix this?

Any loose connections-look at the lugs on the switch and see if all wires are connected.
Any loose not attatched to anything on one end?

I'm no expert on guitar (or any other kind of) wiring, but it seems to me a short like this can happen either at the switch itself, or at the pickup where the wires attach to the coils... if it's the switch, it's a pretty easy fix if you have any experience with a soldering iron... if it's the pickup, a pro might be able to fix it... if you can't tell, it's time to take it to a pro for repair...

Yeah I opened it up but everything appeared to be connected. IT's a shame to cause I bought it new.

Well then, take it back where you bought it and the repair person there will have you fixed up in no time, I'll wager...
