So, my main live guitar is a JP6 I've had for about 7 years and now the saddles are getting to the point where string breakage is a concern. I figure I can go one of two ways....

Get replacement saddles from ernie ball or go with graphtech string saver saddles.

Anyone have any idea which ones will work since they don't make a straight up JP Saddle in the graphtech line?
Anyone have any experience with Graphtech saddles?
Anyone have any suggestions on remedies for string breakage...

It is the same string and in the past I have just filed away at the saddle when there was an issue but now I think I am at the point where I have compromised the plating.

Any ideas or advice is a huge help.

I can't really help but I'm sure EB Customer Service can help you out! Give them a call or e-mail them, I haven't had any problems but I hear they're the best! If you can't fix the saddles you would probably be able to get replacements. You might have to send them the old ones though.

I can say this....the regular strat-style string saver saddles do not fit on the JP bridge....just in case anyone was ever thinking of trying it out...

I had a set at work so I decided to try them out, but alas, they simple are too wide and block part of the tremolo arm hole (no way!).

Guess I'm just gonna get some replacements from Customer Service!
