help with pics of jpm

well i finally received my ebmm jpm after 3 1/2 months and what a beauty. Thanks to u guys and scott ball for making my wait seem alot faster then it was. I took about 6 shots of her but don't know how to get em on here. They're about 600 meg each and the limit is 100 per attachment. How can i compress them.......HELP --- i want to show her off lol.....

I think you mean they're about 600 Kilobytes each, and the limit is 100 Kilobytes... What you need to do is use a graphics program like Paint or Image Composer or PhotoShop or something to do two things...

First, you want to resize your pictures to about 600 pixels by 400 pixels or less - anything bigger doesn't show well on the Web... You can crop the picture to get rid of extra background crap that isn't really important, and then resize the results to be a reasonable viewing size.

After you've adjusted the picture's dimensions, you want to save it as a JPEG - a file with the .jpg extension. JPEGs are compressed picture files, and you can adjust the level of compression in most Graphic Editing programs so that you should be able to get any pic under 600x400 pixels to well under 100KB in size...

Instead of firing up Photoshop everytime I need to do a simple picture resizing, I always use this:
