HELP! Y2D Pickup Selector Switch!

Hi Guys,

Does anyone have a diagram for the pickup selector switch that is currently used in the Y2D (HSH) Guitar? We're trying to figure out which points on the pickup selector switch correspond to the pickup selector positions.

We're trying to set it up such that :

Pos - 1 = Bridge Humbucker
Pos - 2 = 1/2 Bridge Hum + Single
Pos - 3 = Center Single
Pos - 2 = 1/2 Neck Hum + Single
Pos - 5 = Neck Humbucker

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I don't think the sm pups are splittable but I don't know

The pickups are splittable- the bridge p'up, in particular, sounds phenomenal when split. Very twangy.

I'm not sure which switch the Y2D uses- call/email CS and they can send you a wiring diagram. It's probably an equivalent to the Stew Mac "Super Switch"; the switching is unique.

But that said- what you want to do is pretty straight forward. You might just get a standard 5-way switch from your local guitar shop instead (or call EBMM and order the switch they use in the Silo); might be easier. You can get the wiring diagram from DiMarzio's site.

a standard 5 way isn't tall enough to reach through the maple cap , and the pickguard.
