here it is: JP comparision MD vs 07LE vs DDII vs BFR - clip insight

so folks i just did it.
a quick recording with all my JPs.
the MD has the custom wound, the 07LE has the D-sonic, the DDII (with ebony board!) has the CL and the BFR has the CL as well.
(this is the running order in the sample as well)

recorded with an ADA MP-1 into G-Major digital into M-Audio Delta 1010LT into samplitude pro with Poulin LeCab v1.0 cabsimulatior used with an Mesa Tradition SM57 IR file.

I liked the last one best - had more depth - fuller sound.

I actually liked the DD w/ CL the best, sounds like it has a bit more thump in the bass.
The worst one to my ears is the first one, the Std w/ custom wound.

2 and 4 for me but the differences are not enormous and I'd be happy with any of them. What I'd love to hear is the difference in clean tones. That's the real test, IMHO.
