So here I was all revved up and ready to throw down some cash... contacted Bass Central and the bass I've been jonesin' for, a Coral Red Classic with birds-eye maple neck and maple fretboard is not longer in stock. Consider me gutted.

I'm going to side with this being a sign with the Game Changer so close to release that I should hold on to my cash, be patient, and buy one as soon as they are available.

Yea, Bass Central has the same with Rosewood too. But like I said, was really wanting to grab an all maple config. Oh well.

There's one in Overland Park and I don't want to drive across Missouri. Think they would ship to a local Guitar Center? I asked via their contact form on that site so I guess we shall see.

I live in California and bought my 30th Anniversary SR4 from a store in Tampa, Florida. They shipped it directly to my house. A lot of folks bash GC, but I've found they'll work with you and go the extra mile if you're looking to buy a bass. You could probably get multiple quotes from different stores and end up getting a killer deal. Satisfy your jones!
