I made an aluminium holder for my XT so it will fit on top of my combos.
It can lay flat or angle towards you via a hinged mechanism - I used some neat hinge mechanism from an automatic door closer (the things that screw to the top of office doors to close them).
The fittings to hold the Pod firm on the holder are these

Here's a small film clip - I was trying to mount the pod on the holder in the clip - but it is a two handed operation and I was holding the camera.

I just uprated my Pod with all the FX amps and stomps for under $50 - normally circa $100.
