Spud,
I'm a big fan of Jamie. I have a few lessons of his that I go back from time to time.

Good stuff.

Phew - he seems in demand!
Sorry to everyone if I'm stating "old news" but I've never heard of him before.

Fred - I got your photos for the calendar - thanks.

Hey Spud,
Do you know about this site?
http://www.licklibrary.com/

That's where I got the lessons from. He's all over that place.
Oh for sure!
I've been giving lessons to a mate of mine in work - I've got him into da blues!!
He was low in confidence and was having second thoughts about getting the SRV DVD with Jamie giving the lesson as he thought that the techniques were too much at this stage.
He is so glad that he got it - and sent me an e mail straight away saying that I would like his guitar collection.
I just had to share !!!! ;)

Tuition DVDs

I'm also a fan of Jamie. He presented some lessons on the (now defunct it would appear) Musicians Channel in the Uk and was excellent.

W.r.T the DVD's I've seen a few of these advertised with Jamie as the presenter, anyone know if any are worth having?

As a relative beginner (9 months) are they too advanced? I guess I'm similarly apprehensive as Spudmurphy's mate.

One of the reasons I ended up with an Axis Supersport (and Cornford amp) was seeing Jamie using them and checking them out.
