I've owned this guitar for about 9 years and just found out there was a limited PINK edition and was trying to work out if that's what it is. I ended up in this forum because it has a bunch of posts about it from the VH1 Bands Reunited show when they did Vixen.

Thought it was long past time that I blogged about the guitar so click that link if you want more.

I have an email into Ernie Ball to see if it's a PINK or a faded red based on the serial number, but if you have an opinion based on the pictures let me know.

Bad ass guitar. Love it so much.

What was mentioned in the other thread is one of the first things I though of - the color of the headstock logos could be a big clue. Red EVHs were usually silver. Pink guitars had black.

@dibart77 do you have any wisdom to share pease?
