Hey everyone. I'm new to the forum....well, sort of. I used to be a member here but the last 2 years have been quite eventful and crazy. So I decided to create a new account here and kinda start fresh. My name is Justin, I live in Lewistown, Pennsylvania. I have an 18 month old son named Logan. He's just incredible. I was in the Army National Guard for 7 years. I just got out in June 2009. I play in a cover band called Johnny Unit. You can check us out on Facebook if you like. We also have a Myspace @ Johnny Unit on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads. Although we hardly ever update our myspace, you can listen to samples we have on there. I love Music Man basses. I play a Graphite Pearl SR5 and a Blue Pearl Bongo 5. Not sure of the years on those. And I use Ernie Ball strings, of course. Anyway that's pretty much me in a nutshell. It's good to be back:D.

Justin, welcome back. Did you used to play in the Army National Guard band that did the annual fireworks show in Williamsport (Set the Night to Music)? I remember a Bongo player being there.

Welcome back Justin and congrats on your son!

If you want know the birthday of your basses you can post in the Musicman Serial number database sticky thread and the awesome folks at EBMM customer service can give you some cool info.

Take care and good luck with the project!

Yes sir, it is you... Found pictures on your personal mySpace of you there. You (or the Army NG) were kind enough to allow me to use that Peavey bass rig a few time. I'm with Lumpy Gravy, the band that always played immediately after the fireworks.

Welcome Justin... There are a few of us military types here as well as a lot of diehard Bongoloids. Welcome to the forum. JOSH

Haha. Hey lovechick. Yep that was definitely me. I remember you guys being there. You were very good by the way. That Peavey rig was the Army's. I never liked that thing. But you gotta make do with what you got. Were you there the year we got rained on? My Bongo got drenched. Luckily it wasn't damaged.

Justin, this is cool. I've been mostly lurking for years and you're the first guy on here that I've met personally. Yeah, I remember the year of the drenching! I was hiding under the beer tent when it hit, and it cleared pretty quickly. I think I remember briefly talking EBMMs with you because that was the first time I'd seen a Bongo in action. It sounded great, by the way.

Yeah it rained pretty hard. It was right at the end of our set too. It couldn't wait one more song! I remember rushing my Bongo back to the hotel room like an EMT. I grabbed all the towels i could and dried it off. It was scary:eek:. So you live in Williamsport right?

Not as of right now. The only place I know of that our agency books bands there is the Cell Block. But we've never played there yet. We play Harrisburg, Mechanicsburg, Wilkes-Barre, Scranton, State College, and a couple other places right now.
