BP - you've mentioned before about playing a Ukulele.

What songs do you play on it ?

I have a Banjo Uke that I inherited and would like to play it more so I'm looking for some inspiration. Maybe an EB uke should be launched ? Ha!

There was a program on NPR today about a guy who plays rock ukelele. He has electrified it and hooked it up to a distortion box. The guy sounded like Steve Vai. I couldn't help thinking; what's the point?

i did that with some cheap uke my parents got me from a vacation. the neck broke on the flight home... so when i took it to shop class in HS to fix it i saw these old pickups i had left there from a guitar pup swap i did and figured "why not" and put the pups in the uke.

it was fun. i wonder where i put that thing. i dont think ive seen it for a few years now

the uke is a great instrument I love it and just may make an electric one just for laughs

For laugh for you maybe, but I'm sure there's probably a number of enthusiast out there that would die for an EBMM UKE.
I'd buy one! (no really!) :p

What would you call it? UKE is too close to LUKE.
How about LELE?

WEll lets be fair. The uke has been around SLIGHTLY longer than Luke so I think the solution is to rename the Luke.......the Music Man "Ather" Keep in mind that we had to research for hours to determinate who was first...It was almost a Chicken vs the egg argument but the Uke's birthday is about 28 days earlier

If you made a Uke, BP, that's the one I'd buy. :D

I'd love to have a UKE. My son has one, but it's the usual $22 toy. At least with a MM UKE, I'd know it's a quality instrument and not a toy with plastic strings.

Can you picture one in Rad Red!!!!!

I think I'd prefer Autumn Redburst, but...failing the return of a sparkle to the Music Man line, I'd settle for I'd take Pacific Blue Burst or the Caramel Burst to show off that nice Koa top. :D
