hey man,

you mentioned once that you have tried/owned a quite new Silo Special and a little older one and you discovered that the neck shapes are in fact a bit different. I only played a SUB which has similar neck shape to silo but also played the Silo Special from around 1995 and the neck was much more like a baseball bat.

So my question goes to all that know. Does the neck shape changed through the years or maybe it felt strange because of the actual finish on the neck (the silo from 1995 didn't have wax and oil finish on the neck)

My 2000 Sil Sp is slightly thinner than my 2001, but I’d call neither of them fat nor skinny. Both are as close to perfect (for me.. smaller hands) as any neck I’ve ever owned or played; though the edge would go to my 2000.
