Hi

Kinda new to the forums.

I'm Peter, and I have been playing guitar for about 8 years but not really that much of a fantastic player.

I have guitars like a LTD M10 and an MIJ Jackson RX-10D Rhoads. I was gonna go get an MIA Fender Strat when I was introduced to Ernie Ball MusicMan. I tried the first Musicman which was the John Petrucci JP6 and I instantly fell in love with it, but I was more into the sounds of a Silhouette instead. I've just ordered mine and I can't wait for it. I have it in Candy Apple Red and with Black Pearloid Pickguard.

I do plan to get a JP6 BFR after the Silhouette.

Anyways, it's really awesoem to be part of the EBMM community. I hope I can get advise on how to care for my Silhouette and maybe some advice on my playing too.

Hi, welcome! Silos are great guitars indeed. It's the only guitar I have, it can do anything!

You will find plenty of threads on how to care for your guitar in the forum. Setting it up is quite simple, though you shouldn't have to, they come with an amazing setup from the factory. What you might want to read about is caring for the unfinished neck. Just do a search!

Oh and make sure to post pictures once your guitar arrives, or else you'll get a lot of "no pics, no guitar!"

Congrats on the new axe and welcome! I'm new too (been lurking for a long while). Silo's are great guitars, you won't be disappointed at all!
