Title says it all. Had a 30 minute gig (a BotB, actually) last night and the band was just on. I think a large part of that was due to my tone. I was playing the HH AL through my Orange and had that thing sizzling. We sounded great, we played great and we had a blast. Dang I love this guitar! Guys, I wish I could share the tone I was hearing last night with you - ridiculous. Loud, crunchy, fat, sparkly - it was just amazing. Should have some vids later in the week so you can get an idea.

Dang I love this guitar! Thank you, BP and Dudley and all for such a lovely instrument. If nothing else, you made me smile all night long. :)

Dude I can so relate. I've got a tiny terror in my music room and two als. One is the HH with rw neck and the other is a mm90 with all rw neck. They are soooo sweet. I have had two high end Gibsons before I got these two and they easily became the absolute top drawer, go-to guitars for everything. They are the best guitars in the world. Congrats on great taste in guitars and amps!

It actually sounds pretty good, definitely not horrible. The song is pretty good. Sounds familiar without sounding just like something else. I like it.

Greg,
That setup sounds great! I'm digging the white coiled cord too... Your band sounds pretty tight. How did you make out in the BotB?

Thanks, Fred! We advanced to the semi finals. They are this Sunday. The competition will be a lot tougher I think. Started with sixteen now down to eight. Fingers crossed!

Good luck, man.
Your AL sounds killer with that Orange.
Ever try it with any other amps?

I've played it through just about everything. I'm not sure I'll ever buy another kind of amp other than Dr. Z. I LOVE the ones I have and am hoping to save for a Z Wreck and an SRZ 65 someday. What I have right now are ridiculously amazing (listed in my sig). I kind of view them as the EBMM of the amp world - World Class gear made by people who really do care about what they are making sold at affordable prices for working musicians. I'll continue to support both companies in the future for sure! I know there are lots of great amps out there, but nothing makes me smile and inspires me more than the Zs. I do love my Orange, but I suspect I could replace it with an SRZ and be just as happy (although that Orange is never leaving me!). Hopefully someday I'll know. ;)

Well, just a quick update - we advanced in the BotB again! Made it to the final round on November 13! Woo hoo!!! :D

Played my Autumn Redburst SSH AL tonight. Sounded great. Not as thick and punchy as the HH, but stil awesome! Just love these guitars - thank you EBMM for making these bloody fantastic guitars!!!

Congrats on the guitar, and the results in the BoB.

And I really like your music. Bring it Hard is my fav so far, especially the choreography at the very beginning of the song ;)

LOL! Yeah - that's from the new videos from last Sunday that just went up yesterday. Totally improvised on the spot. We discussed it, literally, ten minutes before we went on stage. :D
