Keith, are you being friendly or just trying different ways of breaking the big 500? ;)

Sorry, off topic I know...

SpKirby, have u recently changed ur location info to say Oxford as I didn't notice it before? I also live in Oxford - sounds like an opportunity for a jam to me. Do u play in a band? If so which one? Maybe I've seen you play. :D

All the best

Why?

Do I win something?

Nope. Just noticed a few more posters in the last couple of days.

Yeah I just updated my info today.... No I'm not in a band at the moment but would love to get something going again as it's been too long! A jam is definately on the cards then! I'll send you my details via private message and we can get together. I live just around the corner from the Guitar Gallery...Oh the pain of temptation! ;)

thx for the welcome. this seems like a great and informative forum.

as for ebmm's, I own a few evh's (purple flame and red quilt), as well as an axis ss mm-90 in orange quilt. I plan on ordering a jpm-6 fully loaded in the next week or 2. I'm actually lookin for some opinions on it, but will do a search for that. I'm wondering about the neck profile and feel, the contour cuts for playing live and the tones compared to the ibanez jpm model. (since I owned a few of those and they sounded pretty nice)

If I did not say it to you before...."Welcome to the addiction!"

I call this my "blanket protection "Welcome to the addiction!" plan to cover all those I may have missed.

Hey glassmoon,

We're all pretty biased here. Don't own a jp myself

Another good place to dig for reviews on the petrucci is www.harmony-central.com.

Lots of reviews in one place that tend to cover positives and any negatives other jp owners feel the need to mention.

Also good resource for other eb models as well.

I'm heading over there now to the albert lee section

Ya, welcome to all of you who've recently found your way here - hope you'll stay on and add your own particular slant to our little asylum of EBMM maniacs! :D
