Hi everyone, I have been playing for many years and have had many guitars. For the last 15 or so years, I have been playing the same Les Paul. I was familar with the Ernie Ball Stingray bass and owned a couple many years ok, but was not familier with the Ernie Ball line of guitars. I came apon an Axis Sport S/S/H on ebay about 3 months ago and bought it. I was blown away and like manyof you, found the guitar that fits me like a glove. Since then I have not played the Les Paul and have purchased an Axis Super Sport with the P90's pickups. I am sure it wont be long before I will have an Axis as well. Thanks to Jim D. who answered my e-mail when I had a question, and for his informative web-site. I have learned so much from this forum and looks like I am addicted. For those of you who are married and have the addition, I got some good advice the other day, buy all your guitars in the same color and they will never know the difference. I have attached a picture, the Sport is a 96 slightly modified and the super sport a 2001 model.

Take care,

Kevin

Welcome to the forum.

I'd encourage you to check out the Luke model if you can find one.

Your p90 is stunning.

Keith,

The Les Paul is an old girl and will have her 30th birthday in a couple of months. I have had it so long, I dont think I could ever part with it. I will look at the Luke and also the Albert Lee.

Yeah, those are tough to let go.

I have a sunburst strat I bought in '75. She ain't going anywhere either.

Though sometimes I could swear I hear her screaming "LET ME OUT", and "YOU NEVER PLAY WITH ME!".

Pretty sure he was just razzing (no relation to RAZ).

Personally, the more music in the home, the better imo. ;)

Thanks, the red sport is an awesome guitar, I go back an forth on which Axis is my favorite.

The piano is from Russia, and was built prior to electricity and has the candle holders mounted to the front, so they could see to play. It was in in some type of Russian World Fair way back when. My dad bought it in Alaska, back in the 60's.

I know this is a guitar forum, but thought some might find it interesting.

take care

Welcome! as i am a new member as well. I have a Luke and it is the best guitar i`ve ever had! And i`ve had alot of different brand name guitars such as Fender,Gibson,Carvin,Jackson,Brian Moore,ESP,Peavey,Schecter,Ibanez ect....and in my opinion Music Man puts them all to shame! :D
