Hi all. My first post. I bought a used Stingray 5 off of eBay recently. It's a 1999 model. It's beautiful and I love it. One question on the active electronics. When I DI the bass into my recording preamp(presonus eureka), I am getting some high end hiss from the bass. Turning the treble knob up and down increases and decreases the volume of the hiss. It's like an old radio not on a station type hiss but quieter. I recorded a track and the hiss gets masked by other instruments. Is this sound normal for a 1999 Stingray 5? It's kind of a throw back to the old days when many audio devices had this issue. Thanks
