I came home to a voicemail last night from a woman at my credit union, asking me to call her. My initial thought is credit card fraud or hacked online account. After a little phone tag this morning we talk, and she informs me that I was selected to have a wish fulfilled. (The credit union had a campaign around Christmas time where you could fill out a form online of something that you'd wish for.)

Bottom line: they got me the item I wished for.. a white MusicMan Majesty! w00t! I'm flabberGASted!

I'm working on arrangements to pick it up, they are expecting it to arrive today so it might be in my hands as early as tomorrow!

This is amazing.. insert standard "I never win anything" speech here.. so stoked.. I gotta pinch myself.

Thanks to BP and the crew for making guitars worthy of everyone's wish list.

I'm picking it up at 9:30am tomorrow, so I'll get some pics on here later in the day. A buddy of mine (who plays a BFR JP) is in the hospital so I might see if they'll let me take the Majesty up to his room. I'm sure that would cheer him up.

DrKev, I didn't think to ask for more than one! Doh! Honestly, I'm so surprised and grateful. I'm told the manager of the credit union branch where I'll be picking it up is a musician and he's eager to see it. If he's not a MusicMan player, he will be after tomorrow.

Thanks, Keith. I'm really glad I stopped in with it and let him have the first play. He was expecting to be discharged today but later found out he needs surgery and will now be in there until the end of next week.
