The necks on Rob's Al's have some of the most insane birdseye I've seen on here.

I remember a forumite who tried to sell his Blue dawn ASS a few weeks ago....that amount of birdseye really came close to the wood you're having there.
-EDIT- Found the pics, so you can send me some of that wood

I'm going to say that the birdseye on my Sub1 is even more figured that that. I can't take a pic because....of course....Sub1's have necks covered with paint. I think....no....I'm going to say definitively that that's the reason.

Do the old necks have more of a tint or is it just the pics?

The older necks seem to darken with age.In the picture of mine the neck is darker than the pic,the flash made it more yellow than it is.

I know someone on here had an Egyptian Smoke JP6 that they sold about 2 years ago. It's still the most I've ever seen. Maybe Foggy has a pic of it? The member, whom I can't remember, isn't around anymore, I think...
