I am back from the Cal trip and I have to say it is a very nice change from Cincy. Because of NAMM prep and everything I thought it was best to steer clear of the factories but I did the next best thing:

This was taken at the GC on Sunset in their RockWalk. Morgan saw the prints and started asking about them. I explained and pointed out some of my favs. She then asked to have her picture with some - I asked her where to start and she pointed down at Ernie (because she recognized the name from all of my strings - go figure).

Anyway BP, if you were there or heard about it and if it isn't prying or an imposition, I would like to know the story behind the ceremony. Think it would be kind of cool to tell Mo the story behind the hands :D.

We went on and she got Levin (which is right above where Ernie is at), Luke and some others - girl loves music and the camera.

BTW, The EB selection there was VERY impressive (a 25th, 2 Big Als, a ton of Rays and Sterlings, and a lone Bongo- with a killer price - not to mention the 2 vintage used Rays). One of the Als back S was almost flush to the body... mentioned it to the mgt and it was fixed in 5 mins. - they play sooooooo nice but I have to say I am a Bongo Boy :D

Eddie and LUke and I went....It was a really special day. I have the pic somewhere and each time I go to GC I put my hands in the prints and it is really powerful and very very sad. At the same time I am overcome with pride for my father.
