I just received an email that BIG BALLZ has been banned from the thread. I recently bought the ernie ball stingray he had for sale. All went well and i recieved the bass all professionally packaged. Is there a reason this fellow has been banned because all top notch communication and dealings with the man were smooth and geniune??

Anyway all i can say is the bass sounds and feels incredible. I did not realise what a pro feel the neck has and the sound now through my eden head is very impressive. I am a new convert to the stingray and so far very satisfied.

Thank you to Big Ballz

Glad to hear that all went well, that you got the bass and that you love it. That's the most important thing.

Let's wrap up this issue in an easily digestable package and then stick a fork in it. There's no rule against talking about why and how it happened, but it is just better to move on and not revisit the past. So what happened, basically, was that BB's presence on the forum disrupted nearly everything. He yanked chains for no good reason, was rude and tended to turn threads into things that simply had nothing to do with the original post. The forum was, by and large, unhappy about it. I received complaints via emails, important people (forum members) stopped contributing, the boss was fed up, I was fed up, blah blah blah.

There was name-calling and so on.

So it goes. And that's the story. At no point did I enjoy the meltdown or the subsequent results, but sometimes you do the hard things for the greater good, whether it makes you happy or not.

So we're moving on. Glad to see the transaction worked out for you, and glad to have you on the forum.

Jack
