I have only been in that store twice. About 5 years ago I special ordered a pickup from them and they were going to call when it came in. After 6 or so weeks I called to ask the status and was told it had been there for a couple of weeks but they had just failed to call. I've never been back to the store since.

This guy would bite off more than he can chew with me... I love it when people piss me off in public places

Sure that isn't just his weird little way of joking? The guy at the local guitar shop here seems a little intimidating at first, but he's really a nice guy...

I know it may be a drive for you but if come to Beaumont, Texas at Guitar & Banjo Studio, these guys know there stuff and all of them are real cool. They have a few EBMM's in stock and will get you anything you want. I know they have ASS's in stock, one or two new JP's and a couple of used EBMM's. Give them a call. Great bunch of guys that are very helpful.

Hahah, no thanks Steve! :p

Seriously though, my bass player said I should go there with like $4,000 in cash, get him to ring up all kinds of crap, cables, an amp, guitar, etc., then just say "Ya know, I'm not going to buy all this stuff, I've decided you are a smartass." And walk out. :D

That is actually not a bad idea!!! :D I might even actually pay to see that! LoL :D

I remember back in the 70's I was met with that kind of attitude from one particular music shop here in Cardiff. Their attitude soon changed when we started doing ok and I gotta admit that I used that shop time and time again thereafter.

I have to dael with people all the time with this kind of attidude in my day to day job, and I would agree with comments posted to this thread - maybe try melt the ice with him a bit and see how it goes. Maybe he thinks his attidude is ok and needs a little feedback ;)

I went into a shop in Glasgow when I was younger and I was looking at an Ibanez JEM and I asked to try it. The salesman looked at me then started acting like a dick. He then offered me the keys to his car and said here take this instead...
