One will have the BFR body shape and the painted neck, the other will have the standard JP6 body shape and the maple neck.

No offense but the questions you're asking can be easily answered by going to Welcome to the Ernie Ball Music Man Company and clicking on the instruments tab. The BFR's usually have a flamed or quilted maple top, more scooped out lower horn, subtle arm contour (instead of the regular JP6's drastic scoop, painted necks, and usually have a BFR inlay at the 12th fret, the exceptions being the rosewood necked JP's which are considered BFR's and the Dargie Delight II BFR's.

The BFR will cost you a much larger chunk of change. :D

Also, don't forget the ordering window for the Dargie II's has been closed for 2 months now so you'll need to purchase one from a dealer with existing stock, or still receiving their orders (I think Pete said he ordered a bunch). So while the numbers produced are very limited they are still readily available, but my guess is six months or so from now you will have to buy used.

I thought the arm contour was different but I thought it was just the colors that were messing with me. Now it's obvious.

D'oh indeed. I transferred out of a prep school and had tons of makeup work to do at the time. I must have posted that in the few moment's I had to myself and totally forgot about it.

Not a problem guy. I was just kidding around. Sometimes there is so much info here, it's hard to process it all or you just forget.
