So I've unscrewed the thing, but it won't move... I've seen some people say you need to use a hairdryer to get pickguards off (not stingrays, suggested for other guitars/basses) but I've never had to do this in the past for other instruments, I just unscrewed it and it would come off.
Anyone know what I need to do?

Yeah tried that but no chance paper is going to get under the pickguard. Also tried a ruler and a pick... No pressure between neck and pickup, small gap between pickup and pickguard. I can push the pickup into the cavity. It feels as if it's stuck on...
